Amber joins the Philharmonie Luxembourg in partnership with Fondation EME to collaborate on their second year of pOpera.

For over a year, around thirty refugees and residents of Luxembourg have been meeting regularly to create their own pop opera.
This project aims to help empower and integrate refugees through music and storytelling, help them express their personal stories, foster collaboration and inclusion by bringing together people from diverse backgrounds, and provide an incredible musical opportunity!

The International Opera Workshop is a meeting place for highly talented young singers from all over the world in Sigriswil in the Bernese Oberland. Verena Keller founded the International Opera Workshop 22 years ago, which in recent years has established itself as an internationally recognized talent factory for young opera singers from all over the world. Her work quickly found high recognition both in the specialist press and among the public.
The FAZ describes the Opera Workshop as a “Glimmer of Hope”.

London Festival of American Music

Amber opens the first evening of the 8th edition of the London Festival of American music singing Canciones by Odaline de la Martinez, text by Federico Garcia Lorca.

The week-long Festival, under the Artistic Direction of pioneering Cuban-American conductor-composer Odaline de la Martínez, promotes the work of outstanding American composers who are well-known in the States but little-known to UK audiences, with many of the performances World and/or UK Premieres. Continuing the Festival's long-standing commitment to equality, over half the composers featured are women, and three quarters come from an ethnic minority background.

This 100th Anniversary Season finale includes Beethoven’s most beloved work with the Amarillo Master Chorale and special guest vocalists, plus new music written for the Harrington String Quartet by Grammy Award-winning composer Christopher Theofanidis.

Berlin Atonal
KRAFTWERK

For Berlin Atonal 2023, a new site-specific work titled Humanities (2023) by Laxlan Petras, Amber Fasquelle and Yasmin Saleh was commissioned and premiered at Kraftwerk Berlin. In Humanities, Petras, Fasquelle and Saleh work together to create an ecosystem where live performance and a visual installation create cohesion in the spatial context of Kraftwerk Berlin (the former Mitte hydrothermal powerplant), exploring harmony (or lack thereof ) between species, living organisms and objects.
